Transparent cards stock is ultrathin, light weight, and flexible. This stock is 100% clear. Clear plastic cards are waterproof, tear proof and very resilient. White areas in your design will be left unprinted revealing the clear stock. Printed results will not look as saturated as screen view/ proof/ preview. Due to the transparent plastic some scratching is possible. Avoid lightweight fonts and light colors, best suited for simple designs.
It is necessary to take precaution in designing for clear plastic cards as there is no backing small text, graphics, thin or delicate lines, and light colors could be hard to see in the final product. Avoid designs with text alone and no background color as well as text / graphics that are similar in background color. If you need to express white areas in your design please change stock selection to Clear +White Plastic (required complete design), opaque white plastic, clear plus plastic, or white plastic product.
